Our Approach

Our consulting approach is highly personalized. We work with a limited number of students, allowing us to provide each family with focused, individual attention so that our students receive the full benefit of our expertise and experience. The key to successful admissions is to make sure that students achieve their potential and focus on a passion that has them fully engaged and excited and builds their confidence.

  • Deep Experience with Colleges, Schools and Admissions

Our students come from a variety of private and public institutions across the United States and the world. Working with this diverse group over the last 16 years has given us a broad perspective on college and secondary school admissions.  Every year, we visit campuses, speak to admissions officers, receive feedback from past students, conduct research and attend college counseling conferences, giving us valuable information which we use to support our students.

  • Strategies to Maximize the High School Years

We have a comprehensive understanding of the academic, extracurricular and summer choices that students face and supplement their schools’ counseling on each of these issues.

  • Personal Attention

Our team is small and all of our work is performed exclusively by the principals.  We are known for our accessibility and communication with students and their families.

  • Individually Tailored Plans

We spend a significant amount of time meeting with our students, conducting research and developing creative and workable short and long-term strategies for students’ academic, athletic, extracurricular and standardized testing options, potential internships and summer programs.

  • Trusted Advisor Through the High School Years

Parents of past students highlight the value of having a trusted adult outside of the family and school supporting their teenager and engaging with the parents through high school and the admissions process. We help students stay motivated, organized and on schedule, reducing the family stress that often results from the school and college application process. We act as a liaison and resource center for students’ parents and complement and support the work of a student’s school guidance counselor.
